Sales automation use cases

If you sell, you feel the gaps first. A lead arrives while you are on a call and waits until evening. Notes from the last call never reach the CRM. Every proposal is a copy of the last one, with old prices. The sales workflows below cover those jobs: qualifying and routing inbound leads, turning call notes into a CRM update and a follow-up draft, and building a proposal from one form.

In each workflow, fixed rules decide the tier, the deal stage and the price. AI reads the free text, scores it or drafts the words. You approve anything that goes to a lead or a customer. What usually breaks is the hand-off between tools, so every page shows its checks and what happens when a step fails. Copy the one closest to your job and build it in n8n.

What you can automate in Sales

Each row is one workflow: where it starts, the fixed rules, where AI is used and where you sign off. Open one to build it yourself.

Checks
Every workflow faces the same 8 checks. A check counts only when its test run is recorded; checks that do not apply are left out of the count. 10 checks are built into these designs and still wait for a recorded run. What we test
  1. Qualify and route every inbound lead in minutes, not hours

Starts when a form, chat tool or CRM sends a new lead. Ends with a scored lead, a tier, an owner, a response deadline and a reply draft.

  2. Turn sales call notes into a CRM update and a follow-up email

Starts when a call recorder, notes app or CRM sends call notes. Ends with a CRM-ready update and a follow-up email draft for a person to approve.

  3. Turn a deal request into a branded proposal PDF and CRM deal

Starts when a rep fills the deal form or pastes notes into the chat page. Ends with a branded proposal PDF and a CRM deal with a review task.

02Can I automate it?

Asking about one task?

These questions have a page of their own, with a straight answer and what stays with a person.

  • Can you automate sales follow-ups?

Yes, partly. A workflow drafts the follow-up from your call notes; a person approves it before it is sent.

  • Can you automate meeting notes?

Yes, partly. We do not record meetings. Once your meeting tool or notetaker has a transcript, a workflow turns it into notes, tasks and CRM updates, and a person approves anything that leaves the team.
